User License Agreement

Naval Map products are sold on the base of mutual acknowledgement and undertaking of the terms of service of which we have explained the meanings and components in this agreement. In accordance with this agreement, even if the machine is lost or changed by the user, keeping the benefit of using the softwares will be continued. However Naval Map products while being installed to a machine as the first time, as long as the hardware, operating system and user properties have not changed and for once only, are run by being registered as being taken a registration code by the internet. Installing the product to a machine by different methods means copying it.

According to the Law No. 5846, the Regulation for Obtaining and Using the Maps and the Map Information and the other related legislation; copying, changing, multiplying, distributing, selling or publishing without permission in any place even partially or showing of Naval Map Softwares and the electronical maps given with them which are produced by digitizing by our firm from the charts of which the producer and the rightful is the Turkish Naval Command–Navigation, Hydrography and Oceanography Department, are positive crimes. It will be considered as the same of a license owner’s in person, beyond his/her personal usage, presenting the product he/she has bought as printed or visually to the usage of others. This kind of actions, just because they may be considered as against the charts belonging to the rightful stated above, may form a range of different crimes which have been settled to very heavy sanctions.

The person buying the product and having a user license may use the product by installing and registering over his/her own plural machines if any, providing that they must be used by himself/herself only and reasonably a few. If it’s understood that it has been gone beyond good faith and reasonable number concepts, no registration codes will be given. Even if the license owner is a legal person, the user still must be only one. However it’s possible to add the supplementary user license at a reduction to the licenses covering the whole of our sea folios, providing that they must have the same invoice address. In such a case, the supplementary price as 25 % of the main product price is invoiced for each supplementary user.

Everyone buying the Naval Map products, attempting to install the product to a machine or installing it, will be considered as having read this agreement and acknowledged and undertaken to use the product under the circumstances mentioned in this agreement.
